
3. Our reclaiming machines mix the lime slurry into the soil to the depth and width specified. Mixing is critical. To optimize the chemical reaction between the slurry and the soil, it is necessary to thoroughly pulverize and mix the soil for intimate lime/soil contact. The slurry is uniformly dispersed throughout the soil during the mixing process, creating a homogeneous blend of lime, soil and water. |

4. We use vane-type spreaders, also of our own design, to apply dry chemicals, like the dry cement additive being dispersed here. The application system allows tight control of spreading rates. |
