Full-Depth Reclamation

3. Reclaimers mix the stabilizing additives into the reworked surface. Multiple passes and closely monitored mixing depth ensure thorough blending and maximum strength.

4. Compaction is optimized for the type of stabilizing additive, depth of stabilization, moisture content, and weather conditions. Vibratory padfoot or tamping foot rollers are normally used for initial compaction. Pneumatic tire and steel wheel rollers complete the rolling process.

5. Special trimmers or milling machines shape and trim the base during and after compaction to ensure a smooth surface profile and the proper grade.
